ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Guided by an insistent inner vision of her spiritual journey, Stephanie left her studies in Art History at Boston University and set sail aboard tall ships in 1999. Motivated by her sense of adventure and curiosity, she has lived and worked in some of the most beautiful places in the country, sailing up and down both coasts, recording dreams and learning to communicate with the subtle energies of the natural environment.

What is Polarity Therapy?
In the Polarity system, health is viewed as a reflection of the condition of the energy field. Polarity Therapy is the system of energy medicine developed by renowned osteopath and chiropractor, Dr. Randolph Stone. Energy fields and currents exist everywhere in nature. Polarity Therapy asserts that the flow and balance of energy in and around the human body is the foundation of good health. In this system, we approach the body as one piece of a complex energetic network. Connecting currents run through and around us, creating a vast field of energy.
Stress, trauma, and other life events can create blockage or overflow in our field and result in physical pain, mental distress, and disease. Many of the techniques use the concept of positive, negative, and neutral poles of the body to facilitate release. The balance of elements and chakras in the body also play a key role in Polarity Therapy treatments.
